House Calls
House calls are a great way to introduce your cat or kitten to a new veterinarian. One of our veterinarians will come to your home and provide basic veterinary services in the comfort of your pet’s own home. Our house call services include, but are not limited to:
Wellness and Preventative Care
Wellness and preventative care are important during all stages of your cat’s life. Developing an annual routine for their overall health and vaccinations is essential to the well-being of your furry feline friend. Routine wellness visits allow us to get to know you and your cat. Our wellness visits include:
- Comprehensive physical exam
- Kitten care and vaccine series
- Senior/geriatric care
- Wellness treatments and diagnostics
- Flea treatment, deworming
- Heartworm and intestinal parasite screening and prevention
- Prescriptions and refills
- Cytology (microscopic examination of cells from lumps or masses)
- Blood work, urinalysis, fecal float
- Behavior issues consult
- Environmental and feline-specific needs consult
Minor Illness
If you feel like your pet is not acting like itself, our team is always happy to help. We will ask pertinent questions about the problem and thoroughly examine your pet. After an exam, we can then discuss recommendations and options for diagnostic testing and treatment to devise a plan of action that works best for you and your pet. Some of the minor issues we treat and treatments we provide include:
- Itching, allergies, skin, ear & eye issues
- Lumps/growths, cytology
- Minor wound care
- Vomiting/diarrhea
- Limping, arthritis
- Subcutaneous fluids
The Details
Our house call appointments including a comprehensive physical exam cost $120. We will travel up to 15 miles in any direction from 77840.
At-Home Follow-Up Visits
The Details
Our follow-up visits are up to 15 minutes and cost $80. Follow-up visits must be scheduled within 30 days of our initial visit.
At-Home Euthanasia
We know how difficult it is to lose a family pet. We want the last moments you have with your cat to be a time that you and your family cherish forever. Humane euthanasia in the home allows your family to say goodbye in a familiar environment where your cat can pass peacefully. If you have any questions or concerns about our end-of-life pet care, please contact our veterinary professionals at 979-475-4258. Our telemedicine services are reserved for current clients only. The cost for this service is $60.
